Healthy Sweet Soup Recipe
Required Ingredients
- Rice flour = 2 tablespoons
- Butter = 2 tablespoons
- Fresh coconut milk = 1 cup
- Milk = 1 cup
- Cardamom (bigger ones) = 2
- Cinnamon = 1 piece (of 1-inch thickness)
- Dates = 8 to 10
- Brown sugar = according o your taste
- Grated almonds or coriander leaves = 1 tablespoon
Method Of Preparation
Step 1: Wash the dates proper and have them soaked in water for 4 to 5 hours prior the soup preparation time.
Step 2: After 5 hours, take the seeds out from the dates, make a good paste out of it and strain it.
Step 3: Take a clean pan and melt the butter.
Step 4: Add cinnamon and cardamom into the pan. Let it cook for 1-minute.
Step 5: Now, add the rice flour and fry it until it turns brown. Make sure that the heat is on low level.
Step 6: Once you see the changes in color of the above mixture, add plain milk + coconut milk into it.
Step 7: Then add brown sugar according to your taste and allow it to cook for 5-minutes. If you feel it’s too thick, you can add some more milk into it. Serve with grated almonds on top if you want.
